Two corner windows in bedroom

Question

I have 2 corner windows in my bedroom, both just over 22" wide and 58" long. One is 2 1/2" from the corner and the other is 3 1/2" from the corner. Currently I have blinds there but have lots of condensation on both windows and was suggested to put curtains in which would help the windows breath better.

I have bought a couple of curtain rods and brought them home only to find out that there isn't enough room in the corner for the ends of the rods and then had to bring them back to the store.

I'm not even really sure how far outside the window pane area the curtains and rod should sit on either side for it to look best. Can you give me some suggestions please.

Answer

Flexible curtain rods!

You can use the same rod we use for arch windows, just bend it like a horizontal "L" to fit your corner window.

To purchase the flexible curtain rod click here.

How much the curtains should extend on the two sides?

Two to four inches is ideal. Four inches would be for larger windows or heavier curtains, and two inches for smaller windows and lighter curtains.
