triangle window - angled top and bottom

by Margaret Green
(La Canada, California)

Question

I am thinking about putting in a triangular window that's vertical on one side and both the top and bottom sides at an angle (sort of like this: [> ) It will face west so it will need to be shaded in the afternoon. Is this possible? If not, maybe I need to think of a new shape!

Thanks for your help.

Answer

Hi Margaret,

It is possible to cover a window in the shape that you are inquiring about, however it will have to be with a window covering that is stationary (cannot be opened or closed).

If you want a window covering that can be opened and closed you will have to choose a different shape. See the discussion about triangle windows for solutions on other triangle shapes.
