Three Square Windows in a Row

Question

Sponsored Links

I have three square windows in a row positioned higher on a wall. My daughter's bed is below. The windows have darker wood molding around them. I need a window covering that will block the sun and light in the early morning hours.

Answer

Square windows are easy to cover as opposed to other shapes (think about arch, oval, triangle etc.)

Any type of window shade or blind can be fit into these windows. Possibilities include cellular shades, wood blinds in a matching wood, and roman shades.

But if you want to do something really eye-catching with your three windows in a row scenic window film is the way to go.

You can apply these breathtaking scenes to your windows and since you have three windows next to each other the same scene spanning all windows will add to the genuineness of the view.

3 Square Windows over Bed in Master Bedroom

by Kate
(Las Vegas)

Question

We just moved into a new house and we are trying to figure out the appropriate window coverings for the 3 1' square windows over our bed in the master bedroom. The windows face east (of course) and we are up with the sun every morning.

We have a beautiful view out the windows, so I want some sort of covering that can be opened and closed.

The bedroom is quite large with a sitting room and then 2 steps up to the sleeping area. We have a queen sized sleigh bed in a (if I am remembering the term used correctly) mahogany finish (Henredon Charles the X series).

Answer

How about full length curtain in back of the bed that pulls open with tiebacks when you want it open for view and is let down at night and early morning when you want to cover the windows?

Use a heavier fabric if too much sun shines through lighter fabrics.
