Living Room Corner Windows

Corner-ish Windows

Corner-ish Windows

Question:

I have two windows that are not the same size yet are adjacent to each other as in a corner. I have included a picture as these are turning out to be impossible to figure out what type of drapery to use. My first thought is to get 3 single width panels hanging one panel at the outer end of the windows and hang the third panel in between the two windows. Any thoughts you might have would be greatly appreciated.

The window on the left is 47 inches wide and the window on the right is 34 inches wide. The ceiling is 8.5 feet.

Answer:

The three panel ideas sounds fine. It is a good idea to try to combine both windows so they should look like one even if they are different sizes.

On the narrower window you can extend the drapes beyond on the outer edge of the window adding width to the window, and on the wider one you can make it fit more exact, this will give an illusion that they are the same size. The wide window will be partially covered while the narrower window will be fully exposed
