Large square windows

Question

How would you design curtains for large square windows that are positioned one above the other separated by 4-5 feet of wall? These are located on either side of the fireplace.

Answer

To make it look real dramatic I would do a single window treatment for all four windows together. Drapery panels down the two sides with tie backs between the upper and lower windows and a swag valance on the very top framing all windows together.
