Large corner arch windows

Question

I have a vaulted ceiling in my dinning room with two large arch windows that meet in the corner of the room. I would like to add some kind of window treatment that incorporates the height of the windows and will complement the arch as well. The picture that I am sending does not show the complete height of the wall. The wall continues an additional 5 feet beyond the top of the window. I can't wait to hear your ideas. This has been a challenging window for me.
Thank you.

Answer

You can put three medallions, one at the center top above the arch and the other two on the two sides of the arch and drape the drapery like in this window below. You will have the arch accentuated and trianglular look of the top of the drapery will complement the vaulted ceiling. The eyes are therefore pulled toward the vaulted ceiling bringing everything together.

For ideas to cover the arched window to privacy or light control see our arched window covering page.
