Question

Each wall has floor to ceiling shutters. Actually the total is 6 pairs of shutters. The ceiling is high beam. The color is Swiss coffee. In the past prior to this treatment I had very formal swag valances and drapery which I miss. What can I do to soften the look and make it more dressy? Perhaps a valance or even drapes would that be proper?

Answer

The beauty of shutters is that it can be combined with fabric. Adding a valance or even drapery will make your room even more special.

Before adding anything you should make sure that the function of the shutters will not be hampered by the drapery.

If you are looking to purchase a valance check out our overlapping swag valance that can be easily customized to your taste.
