Eyebrow-shaped opening

I have an eyebrow-shaped opening above the door that separates my bedroom from the bathroom. It has 16” legs and is 36” wide.

Because the outside wall of the bathroom is made of glass blocks, and there is an eyebrow window above the glass block wall, a lot of light comes into the bathroom. Unfortunately, a lot of light comes into my bedroom in the morning when the sun comes up.

We have room-darkening cellular shades on all the windows in the bedroom, and would like to do the same with this eyebrow-shaped opening above the bathroom door. But I would like the option of opening up that space during the day.

I did see a picture on your website showing a cellular shade on an eyebrow window that lowered from the top down. That would be a perfect solution for me.

Question:

Because the eyebrow-shaped opening is so high up (bottom of opening begins 7’8” up), is there such a thing as a cellular shade that can be lowered and raised with a remote control?

Yes, all specialty shaped cellular shades that are symmetrical on both sides can be opened and closed with a motorized remote control.

For room darkening you would need to choose from the Hunter Douglas Duette Architella room darkening fabrics. These are the only room darkening fabrics that open and close fully.
