eyebrow arch

by Trish Koch
(Leesburg,fl)

Question: We have an eyebrow arch above another window that I have a cornice and vertical blinds. The window is 72 and 1/2 inches wide with 14 and 3/4 inches legs. It is 22and 3/4 inches from the center of the arch to the bottom. The window below is 72 and 1/2 inches wide and 62 inches high.

What we would like to do is cover the eyebrow arch with something that would block some sun.

Answer: If you want to block the sun completely you should use mock shutters. They can be made to match your cornice and can be opened to bring in sunlight and closed to completely block it.

Other ideas are cellular shades and fabric sunburst, you can see more information on our eyebrow window treatment page.
