Deep, Recessed Windows

Question

My windows are recessed about 5-6 inches from the frame. We are going to hang some honeycomb window treatments in most of the windows and some wood blinds or solar shades in a couple.

Should I hang these window treatments as far into the frame as I can or flush with the frame? I'm guesssing it is just a personal preference but please let me know if I am missing anything or can learn from others that have had to make this decision in the past.

The window treatments will be the prettiest if they are flush with the frame. Putting them recessed into the window will take away some of the beauty.
