Corner Bedroom Window

Question

I have a corner window which has limited space to hang drapes, etc.

I have wood mini blinds up now but the light from the street still glows.

The only solution will be to get a shoji screen with black out that I can move in front of the window at need.

My concern is; I need a blackout-also panels that won't have light leaks, and are light and easy to move.

The size- 36" side window...72" front window...ceilings are 9'

Answer

Shoji panels are usually light filtering and light also comes in through the hinges that connect the screens.

The best thing for a corner window is to use vertical blinds or drapery with a flexible track.

The track is bent into an "L" shape so that you can cover both windows with a single window treatment.

Being that you are in NYC I would recommend that you step into our showroom at 1796 45th Street Brooklyn NY and discuss the situation with one of our designers there. Our showroom is open Sunday thru Thursday 12:00 to 6:00 PM.

Vertical Window Treatments
by: Elise

I came across your post this morning while browsing interior design blogs and the topic of window treatment selection was very interesting to me. Working with awkward placed windows can be tough, but through the use of vertical blinds, any window will live up to its full potential.
