Black and white curtains for different sized windows?

by Mira

Here you can see what I did with some of my windows.

Question

However, I am still having a difficult time deciding on window treatments for the sliding door and the different size small windows next to the sliding door.

Should I continue the black and white curtains on the sliding door and the two corner windows?

I also need some advice or suggestions on the area above my kitchen cabinets, my sister suggested a splash of red. I absolutely will not put green plastic plants in that space (I absolutely do not want fake or real plants up there and no green). I want to stay contemporary.

Thank you for your help

Answer

From what you said last time it seems to me that you do not have enough space on the side of the windows for stacking the curtains, so how about a the black and white striped valance to bring together all three, the black and white striped curtains, the black and white kitchen, and the other windows?

For the area on top of the cabinets you can put pottery that is black and white with a splash of red.

Black and White Curtains?
by: DeMoores

I took a look at your pictures, and wondered if you would consider Roman blinds?

You could mix it up a bit By adding a white panel in Predominantly black blinds (perhaps the bigger windows to make them appear smaller) then a black panel in the predominantly white blinds (perhaps for the smaller windows to make them appear larger)

Whatever you choose to do, take time to look at various styles and pictures in order to be inspired!

Good Luck, and let us know what you ended up doing!
