Arched Window Rod

by Marine Yutz
(Breinigsville, Pa)

I am looking to put heavy lined draped on an arched window and the window is not small. The arched window kit that you have, is it able to hold the weight? And also will it separate the drape at the top?

I can put rod rings on the drape or I can put in grommets but just can't see on the picture how it would hold the drape rather than it all fall to the right or left of the rod.

Thanks so much

Answer

Hi Marine

Our arched rod kit is for light to medium weight fabrics (I would not recommend it for heavy lined fabrics).

It does not use rings or grommets to hold the fabric. Instead the rod together with the fabric is attached to the arched window by pressing them into the clips supplied with the kit. These clips are what keeps the curtain in place and keeps it back from slipping toward either side of the arch.

You can see how it looks on the photo on the arched rod page.
