glass front entry door
Question

Our front entrance door is a full glass with a 4 inch border. We are struggling to find blinds/coverings that can move with the door.
AnswerWhat I usually recommend for such doors is our movable door shades. It looks and works like our sidelight shades.
You install two non-moving rails on top and bottom of the glass. Then you open and close it using one or two moving rails.
Since it is mounted on the top and on the bottom the shade will not hang and will move along with the door.
You can read more about these shades by our
sidelight shades page. To order you will have to
contact me for an exact quote because the sidelight shades do not come in the width that you need.
Since it is an all glass door then what works for French doors should work for your door, too. So check out our

Anderson french doors
Question
I have a set of all glass french doors that open out onto a deck. I'd like some suggestions for some privacy /sun solutions.
I live where there's lots of wind and sun. The windows face east so they get bright early morning sun. I was thinking of roller shades, but honeycomb might work.
The windows are made by Anderson, so I'd like something close in color to "Anderson white" which is actually a grey/white.
Answer
Honeycomb shades come in many colors, so it shouldn't be hard to match. I recommend you look at actual swatches if you are particular in getting the right color.
Here you can see how honeycomb shades will work on your door:
Front door shades
Sidelight shades (The sidelight shades are only up to 24" wide but we have wider widths too. If your shades need to be wider contact me me to purchase)

We also have a white roller shade that is 25" wide. If the size is right and you want a white roller shade you can contact me about purchasing it.
