2 Story Wall with Four Windows

Sponsored Links

Question

I have a 2-story wall with 4 windows, 2 stacked on top of each other. The top 2 windows are arched. I’m wondering if I could just do a valance of some sort on the 2 lower windows, leaving the top windows bare. As you will see on the picture, my fireplace mantel is right up against the edge of the left lower window, so not sure that a drapery type covering would work.

Answer

A valance sounds like the right thing for you because of the fireplace. Take a look at this valance for a neat valance idea.

The upper window can be left bare or you can cover it with the top-down cellular shades which can be opened and closed easily without blocking the view.
